Hubby picked up his car late yesterday. That means I got my car back too. Due to a misunderstanding on hubby's part, he never got the rental that was promised. So he drove my car to and from work everyday except one day when I needed the car. Then I drove him to work & a co-worker dropped him off at a rendezvous spot at the end of the day. Fortunately for both of us, I didn't have any doctors' appointments to go to. Otherwise, there would have been more days like that one day. I'm glad to get my car back. I don't go out during the week very often. Some weeks not at all. Nonetheless, knowing that I couldn't if I wanted to was tough.

I went out to the mall yesterday. I can't breathe this morning due to stuffiness. Is this allergy season ever going end??

When I looked out my kitchen window this morning, I saw a bunny nibbling its breakfast in my yard. Spotting bunnies in my yard is a special treat. A happy way to start the day. :)

The stitch is the "star" stitch. The shawl "steps" down with each row being shorter than the previous one. Hence, the name.

In fact, no moon at all last night. Or stars either. Figures. The one time I remember to look at a celestial event, there's nothing to be seen.

This afternoon's weather has been gorgeous. I took a lawn chair outside to sit and read in the shade for about an hour. My allergies will likely pay for my indulgence later tonight & tomorrow. But at least my cabin fever has been temporarily eased.

The second season of the BBC's 21st century update of Sherlock Holmes finally debuts on PBS Masterpiece Mystery this coming Sunday. It's about time. I've had to work hard to avoid spoilers since nearly everyone and their sister have already watched the season.

Hm, I wonder if Sherlock & John survive the first season's deadly cliffhanger? ;)

For the better part of a week, I've tried to upload photos of my latest crochet project to LJ's scrapbook where I keep all the other photos. However, LJ's upload utility is simply not working. I know that I can use other image hosts to share my photos. But I have a paid LJ account. Scrapbook space is part of my subscription. I should be able to use it. I'm paying for it. I'm not happy about this at all.
